This is an architectural detail from an office building on Cornwall Street in Regina, Sask, I once considered a career in architectural design and even studied drafting. Life turned me toward the life of a visual artist but the love of architecture remained a subject the appears and reappears frequently through out the years of my art practice. I even volunteered with the Architectural Heritage Society in cataloguing pieces removed from Union Station in Regina as it was transformed into the now Casino Regina. This work is painted on gallery wrapped canvas.
This work showed in a smaller group showing of the Regina Art Collective with Guest Artist David Butt at the Lobby Gallery; Regina.
