We were recently on vacation in the Bahamas at this tropic port and wow, was it wonderful. We swam, sun bathed, drank some, and had a good time. One morning we woke up and my wife said, “I’m bored, do something!”
So I went downstairs to the concierge to find some adventure we could go on. We could go shopping, go to a spa, or go on a 3-hour tour of the nearby islands. Naturally, I chose the 3-hour tour. A 3-hour tour. My wife loved the idea too. No really, I could tell.
We and three other passengers were chilling in their tiny ship when the Skipper, brave and sure, told us about this enchanted cabin on a nearby uncharted desert isle and asked if we wanted to see it. Well, duh! Of course! So we set sail for the haunted cabin.
It wasn’t long before the weather started getting rough and the tiny ship was tossed. But I figured the first mate and his skipper too knew what they were doing so I sat right back to enjoy the experience. Soon the ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle, and it was just a quick uphill climb to the cabin.
The cabin looked like it was in some kind of twilight zone getting all warped and weird. But the skipper said the old lady that lived there was very nice and always invited them in for cookies and tales. I would have gotten a photo but nobody had a phone!
Anyway, here’s “Cabin of your Dreams” as I saw it on that day.
