Flagler Pier
While visiting Daytona, I stumbled upon this striking pier at Flagler Beach. The image stayed with me—not just for its weathered beauty, but for the unexpected sting of tiny jellyfish in the surf that cut my swim short. Using my usual process of ink transfer on beeswax, I layered in subtle, hidden elements that echo both the memory and the mood of that shoreline experience.
