Barns have been a favorite subject of mine for as long as I've been an artist. Over the years I've collected hundres of images from all my travels. Most of the imagges are taken as I drive by an old interesting barn and some, if I'm able, I will stop to get a few angles. This barn was the first that I created more of an orange glow in the sky. All my past barn paintings had either a pale blue sky or I just scrapped the beeswax off and revealed the wood.
