Umme Hani Tinwala is an Islamic geometric artist who lives in the city of lakes Udaipur, India.

Islamic geometry is her forte, producing artwork with distinct notions and ideas is what she is fond of.

A young enthusiastic learner with a passion to create an illuminating body of work using ancient geometric patterns with a contemporary colour palette. She uses watercolours and threads with accentuating gold leaf and khatt-e-Arabic.

The artist, who received her B.Sc Honors in textile and apparel design inspired to incorporate some aspects in her artwork by using threads on paper to create complicated geometric motifs and patterns which makes her artwork unique.

She hopes her artworks convey to people a feeling of optimism and equilibrium through the various elements of her toil.
