Statement
Giving substance to an emotion, matter to memory, is the very essence of Anna Radecka's artistic research. The Artist's approach revolves around the plurality of human nature, combining painting and screen printing as a means of expression. From certain expressions is born an obsession which in turn is transformed into patterns, spots, lines or dots. The form changes, transforms and vibrates. Anna Radecka sees the images in series and screen printing allows her to develop this vision: to create series based on the same motif, the same moment, as if the Artist could prolong it in space, stop the emotion, look at the here under the magnifying glass, sometimes reliving it to finally see it truly. Anna Radecka's family and everyday life are her main sources of inspiration. Moreover, the Artist draws his thirst of creation in the worlds by Rothko, Bacon, Man Ray, Peter Doig, Richter, Nowosielski, Witkacy, Cieslewicz as well as in iconic painting and frescoes by Giotto.
