I am scared to swim in the ocean. It is another world I am not sure I am a part of. The water swirls around the rocks. But Bronte Pool is safe. I come here to swim most days. The sunrays give me energy. The blue sky reflects off the water. The sandstone rocks are like multicoloured blocks stacking up the cliffs. I stretch as I stand in the shallows. Young, old, rich, poor, happy, sad, busy and relaxed; the pool is for everyone. The salty water tingles on my skin as I dive in and washes my worries away.
This original painting by Rachel Rae is painted in acrylic with a varnish on a deep stretched canvas and is ready to hang.
