The Western Whistler is such a regular sight (and sound) singing at his reflection in my office window, I consider them a mascot for my property. This bold-coloured little bird is strikingly beautiful and his strong shape and yellow chest teams beautifully with the unusual forms of the Yate flowers and their cream and lime-y tones.
