This pastel piece is about the ocean’s ability to be both powerful and peaceful at the same time. I wanted to capture that contrast by balancing the energy of the crashing white water with deep, quiet blues and greens. It’s my way of exploring the restless yet soothing rhythm that always draws us back to the shore.
