This is one of two early paintings for which I have a photograph. It was oil on canvas about 45x45"--yet another square.
Spectrum (1970) reveals an early fascination with color relationships, spatial tension, and abstract structure.
In college, I sold three paintings between 1971 an 1972. One was a large still life on canvas of bones- painted in pink, yellow and peach, the colors of a young girl's bedroom.
