In this original oil painting, the young boy reaches for the baby goat that nudged him for a petting. A short distance away, another kid goat notices with curiosity and approaches with the hopes of some friendly attention, too.

When the parents of the young boy spotted paintings by Pat Cross of children stooping to play, they requested one of each of their two young sons, each depicted from images captured during a family visit to a goat farm. The paintings are custom framed in a rich ebony finished solid wood frame and display as a centerpiece in their home.
