A clan of artists haul their easels out of their home studios and into the park for fresh air, inspiring scenery and, much needed comradery. Most often, the creation of an artworks requires ample solitude to focus and produce. However, the flesh-and-blood nature of each artist yearns for, on occasion, the company of their peers. This small town makes that more possible with the nearby, well-tended and safe park.
"Art in the Park" is one of a series of oil paintings by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day.
In this 24" x 18" oil painting, the artist used all professional grade, archival quality materials and production methods. The painting is sealed with a clear, UV protective finish for lasting impressions.
One of a series of oil paintings by Pat Cross on the perks of small town living.
