A large flock of Canadian geese take refuge at the riverside sanctuary as seasons turn, much to the delight of birdwatchers who travel from near and far to ogle the spectacle.

"Our Bird Sanctuary" is one of a series of oil paintings by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day.

In this 16" x 12" oil painting, the artist used all professional grade, archival quality materials and production methods. The painting on a cradled birch panel is sealed with a clear, UV protective finish for lasting impressions.
