Winner of the 2021 Best of Show Award and the People's Choice Award in the juried show, Creative Isolation, sponsored by the PACE Foundation and hosted at The Garage, Teays Valley newest exhibition and creative space.

In this oil painting, an American of Middle Eastern heritage graces the stage with her highly skilled and artistic moves during a Gala that raises funds to make public transportation more accessible to all.
Few traditions reveal the subtle artistry of the human form as poignantly as the Middle Eastern belly dance. Here, the shoulder leads the figure in a graceful but earthy swirl as her arms frame the gentle twist of her torso in motion.

This oil painting illustrates the generosity of West Virginia citizens within all ethnicities, and to the infrastructures that support the building construction and operation of performance theaters that make such fundraising gatherings possible.

Painted on a 24" x 12" gallery wrap canvas 1-5/8" deep, the image continues around the deep edge and adds dimension to the piece. Ready to display in your home or office space where you want a reminder of the value of art in motion.
