Diverse Daria is series inspired by the cartoon character, Daria using her recognizable facial shape and glasses as a starting point rather than a template. I reimagined the character through different faces, skin tones and identities to explore representation in a space where it was largely absent growing up. As a fan of the cartoon series, I had a lot of fun creating custom work for those who wanted one for themselves as well.
