The work represents time conceptually. The sculptural figure depicts the power of science to uplift lives and society throughout time. Time is represented visually through the bending of space and time through the reflection of the viewers face in the mirrored face of the sculpture. Time is represented visually by the placement of octahedron boulders that are depositing sediment, with
weathering and erosion.
The various components of the work include community, time, and intuitive creation. The community aspect is achieved through various community engagements and campus experiences, time is conveyed by using various earth materials, and intuitive creation is achieved by using found materials which makes for a complex sculptural form.
Note: The octahedrons of various sizes are various sizes ranging from 36-24" x 24" x 24"
