Collins Yaw Antwi is a Ghanaian artist currently pursuing an MFA in Visual Studies at Missouri State University, building on his BA in Industrial Art at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Specializing in ceramics, Collins crafts thoughtprovoking sculptures that delve into the intricacies of power, its construction, maintenance, and disruption. His work invites viewers to critically engage with the dynamics of power, exploring both historical and contemporary contexts. Collins' pieces have been showcased in several notable exhibitions, including the Juried Student Exhibitions at Cabot Gallery in Springfield, MO, the MSA Student Pop-up Exhibition at the UAB Department of Art and History in Birmingham, AL, Obelisk Home in Springfield, MO, as well as community spaces in both the US and Ghana.
