ARTIST BIO
Kayla Brown is a multidisciplinary artist from Bloomsdale, Missouri. She earned her Associate of Arts in Fine Art from Mineral Area College in 2019 and her Bachelor of Arts in Ceramics at the University of Missouri–St. Louis in May 2024. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies at Missouri State University, where she also serves as a Graduate and Teaching Assistant. Her work has been exhibited in various group shows, including Gallery Zeke in Steelville, MO, in 2019. She participated in multiple group exhibitions in Ferguson, MO, from 2022–2023, such as Life on Canvas, Go Fund Yourself, and Hung Together. In 2023, Brown’s work was featured at Obelisk Home in the group show Collective Difference. Most recently, in 2024, she exhibited in Small Works Synchronous at Iowa Lakes Community College.
