ARTIST STATEMENT
I love comics, as a medium - the ability to combine the power of both words and images makes it possible to express very complex ideas in an accessible way. I also have a background in theatre, which makes me interested in the power of communal, ephemeral storytelling experiences. My recent work has focused on ways to combine these two artforms, resulting in To Dress, a short comic about gender euphoria which takes the form of a small room.
