STATEMENT: Springfield is home. When the pandemic happened, the loss that we felt sent us searching for ways to feel connected. One morning a phone call from a friend found her and I on top of the downtown parking garage sitting watching the sunrise. The moment allowed us a feeling of community and hope for our home town to see better days again.
