“Saturday Morning Motherhood” captures the universal need for mothers to multi-task. Saturday mornings mean house cleaning, grocery shopping, and a mad dash to extracurricular activities for the kids with siblings in tow. It is the same in every culture.
“Saturday Morning Motherhood” starts with the center panel. It is framed by a pieced border and ends with an African print border. It measures 36x43 inches and is pieced and quilted on my machine. Button and cowrie shell embellishments add interest to the quilt.
There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display and a label that documents the quilt. I signed and dated it on the front. This quilt is one-of-a-kind.
