I love books. I wanted to honor the books Congressman Lewis wrote as I imagined some of the books that inspired him.
Cotton fabric. Paper pieced. Embellished with printed words and embroidery. Machine quilted by Maxine Moore.

Antique book fabric carry out the theme of the quilt. A hanging sleeve added for easy display and a label documents the quilt. I signed it on the front.
