The Kendeda Fund is dedicated to exploring how human beings can build a more just and equitable world, one in which we use resources wisely and relate to one another more mindfully. With that mission statement in mind, I knew the perfect theme was "community".

The quilt is composed of 13 house blocks and 12 tree blocks to carry out the theme of community. Messages from the Kendeda Team surround the community in log cabin blocks.
Guiding words are sprinkled throughout the quilt. I embellished the quilt with buttons and charms.

There is a hanging sleeve on the back, and a label that documents the quilt. I signed it on the front.

This quilt was commissioned and is one-of-a-kind.
