Sundrenched sunflowers in front of a barn. This is a studio painting from a plein air study. I've painted a couple different versions of this composition, experimenting with different pigments and techniques each time.

I really love sunflowers! Fun fact: Did you know that the sunflower will clean up the soil in which they are planted if it has been contaminated with radioactive heavy metals? Pretty cool!
