Des Vu is a French phrase for that feeling when you know that the current experience you're having will become a memory. It's like deja vu, but in reverse order. This day at the beach digging in the sand had that sensation.
This is a study for a larger studio version entitled "Well Diggers." That one used a different set of pigments as the pigments I chose for this piece were difficult to use for this scene.
Pigments used: Cadmium Orange (PO20 and PR108), Phthalo Turquoise (PG7 and PB15), Ultramarine Violet (PV15) and Titanium White (PW6).
