Lines, patterns, and assorted textures are the threads of my work to hold and capture what is fleeting; time and memory. The peace and healing that can be found in nature, particularly near water, all flow in and out of my work.
Growing up near the Jersey Shore, living and surfing on the North Shore of Hawai'i, and now, walking along White Clay Creek, or appreciating the life found in and around our back yard koi pond is reflected in Home School.
Like the flotsam and jetsam that wash ashore entangled and intertwined, I am interested in our interconnectedness and how our individual stories are part of something larger than self. This work is an exploration- and celebration of moments that are fleeting and full of grace.
