Two handmade leather, suede and fabric books joined by a band, containing the title, representing connections between the theme and diverse environments, exploring the journey between loneliness and solitude, in both urban and rural environments. A suede and silk band continues around the backs, attached only at the ends, but still encircling, reiterating and continuing interdependency. smooth, slick, dark brown kid, printed with a gloss stripe is representative of the manufactured city environment in the first book. With the rough distressed suede reflecting beach and rural environs of the second book, raised bands further connect the two books.
