I will never forget the first Thanksgiving in my first year of Thanksgiving. The first 5 weeks were all about fun, meeting people and all the new experiences and this new shiny world of growing up. On that drive home, the closer I got to home, this shifted to an longing for home. To see the familiar, sleep in my bed and wake up to the sounds of the loons on the water. I became a deep urning of. my heart. We have moved since from that place on the water in Haliburton, but home has become so many new places. There is always one special place, and that will be the place on the water that will always hold my heart.
