"The Wedding Feast" or alternatively titled "The Wedding at the Botanical Gardens," is based on the passage in the bible from Matthew 22:1-14 and was created at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Miriam's Thoughts:
"One day, I was in the Gardens for a walk, and chairs were set out by the lily pool for a wedding. Everything was beautiful. When I returned to the scene, I noticed that only the first three rows had been filled. The rest of the fifteen rows were empty.

I thought about the parable Jesus told of the man who invited people to the wedding, and when it was time, no one came, so he sent his servants out on the highway and asked others to come. If only we had not been too busy to come to the wedding.
