Mid-term elections, 2012, in the United States pushed alt-right religious groups to the forefront of politics. Angry people, racism, intolerance, voter suppression became the rhetoric of the “Tea Party”. Politics have continued the mean-spirited downward spiral culminating with the current administration. This piece continues the discussion as the Republican Party falls in line and tries to overturn our democracy.
