Stilt Fly-in was photographed at the Davis Wetlands in June of 2021. I was watching a variety of birds enjoying the newly emerging rice when I saw a flock of birds approaching. It took me a moment to realize they were Black-necked Stilt. I had never seen so many coming in together in this way or this type of habitat. It was a thrill to see them arrive.
