A Marsh Wren Sings was photographed on Natomas Basin Conservancy property in May of 2021. Marsh wrens are plentiful among the reeds and tule weeds in Sacramento wetlands. Their songs reverberate loudly everywhere, but these tiny birds are experts at hiding themselves. I was delighted when this little wren allowed me to observe his song - ever so briefly.
