Hummingbird with Chicks

Hummingbird with Chicks was photographed in Sacramento in April 2021. The nest, no larger than a tiny espresso cup, perches on a lighting bracket above the French doors leading to a friend’s patio. Mama Hummer seems perfectly happy with the arrangement, and did not let my annoying presence interfere with feeding her chicks.
