Ponca Church built in 1920 for then mining area around Ponca Arkasas. Served as church, school, community center for which mining families paid subscriptions that probably paid for its first paid teacher.

I just revved my way up the rough hill and not finding anyone around or any sign or marker I found these very prickly plants off to one side on the side of a hill I had to dodge falling down.
