Mighty Cypress ghostly trees are caught in unsettling state that blankets my feelings in the white stillness wrapped around them.

I awoke early to attempt sunrise photos at William Kirsch Preserve at North Ranch Woods, Arkansas, US. I was wrong about where the sun arose.

However, I was surprised by a mystical fog floating above the surface of Maumelle Lake and around cypress trees with an autumn tree backdrop. This pairing of trees front to back caught my attention and I captured what has become a peep favorite.
