(2 of 2) Monkey and Bird double full faced mask based on ancient Japanese story. Front of mask is either a monkey face with an upside down bird on forehead, or a bird face with yellow beak and a monkey face upside down on forehead. Originally carved in by artist while in Japan in 1986 for Mariko dance company. Reproduced in 2012, cast in fiberglass.
