Lílíana. Full face mask used in performances by Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ of Chandler, AZ. It has a dark blue nose and teeth outlined in dark blue and pink. Surrounding the forehead and eyes, it has an Aztec-like pattern in light blue and gold swirls with pink and green half circles at the top. The cheeks have light green, blue, and pink lines across them, and the chin has a forehead matching gold, blue, and green design.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
