Artists first true attempt at a more traditional style of Mexican Folk art "animal face" mask from Guerrero. Inspired by a mask with the same features but much larger that's a part of my collection of master carved folk masks.

Materials: styrofoam, plaster bandage, and paper clay for the body. Repurposed artists' first Calaka mask with additional features for the face in middle. Also made with plaster bandage and paper clay.
