Sonrisa Series created as an addition to the Mercado Collection, available for purchase. Artist, Zarco Guerrero created these masks to add more variety at festivals. After realizing the large number of aggressive-faced masks he produced, he decided it was time to lighten the air with two new series of masks; the 2024 Sonrisa & Funny Face Series. By creating the new mask series, the artist payed tribute to traditional themes used in Mexican art and provided a special element of humor and cheerfulness displayed for festivals and the mercado.

Tan skin tone base with pink wrinkles lines underneath the eyes and near the nasolabial folds. Pink horns sticking out of the forehead. Almond eye cutouts. Wide mouth grin with both rows of teeth showing; ten on top, eight on the bottom. Large ears sticking outwards.
