Cristobal. Full face mask used in performances by Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ of Chandler, AZ. It has purple ribbons attached at the sides. It is painted with a light green W-shaped swirl on the forehead and a pink dot beneath it. It has dark purple eyebrows and eyes outlined in an orange flower style with a dark purple nose. The cheeks have light green W-shaped designs with pink dots and pink V-shaped designs surrounding them. The teeth are outlined in purple, and the chin has an orange dot at the center with a light green V-shaped design underneath it.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
