Funny Face Series created as an addition to the Mercado Collection, available for purchase. Artist, Zarco Guerrero created these masks to add more variety at festivals. After realizing the large number of aggressive-faced masks he produced, he decided it was time to lighten the air with two new series of masks; the 2024 Sonrisa & Funny Face Series. By creating the new mask series, the artist payed tribute to traditional themes used in Mexican art and provided a special element of humor and cheerfulness displayed for festivals and the mercado.

Tan skin tone base. Large ears pulled back. Narrow eye cutouts with two crease lines on each eyelid. Large forehead with brown eyebrows. Wide nose and nostrils. Big, opened mouth smile with only the top row of teeth visible. Eight teeth on the top row. Pink lips.
