This is an oil painting on a 12" x 12" wood panel of the small container next to my kitchen sink in which I place food scraps before taking them out to my compost bin by my garden. This painting includes kale stems and mango pieces. The image is painted on the front of the panel while the sides, 2" deep, are left as natural wood.
