This original Mandara piece is handcrafted from reclaimed timber and infused with botanical inlays suspended in art resin. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, it celebrates natural imperfections, organic textures, and the quiet beauty of impermanence. Each element — from the wood grain to the preserved florals — is chosen for its unique character, creating a composition that feels both grounded and ethereal.
Designed and created in Chiang Mai, this work is part of an evolving series exploring the intersection of sustainability, craft, and storytelling through natural materials.
