"Lollipop Flowers" is part of my Interior Motives series, which was shown at the Corner Gallery, Stanmore in April 2024 and at Tiliqua Tiliqua in November 2024 and again in May 2025 as part of Inside Out, back at The Corner Gallery, Stanmore.

This playful piece has been made by combining stamping, collage of my original prints and drawing with pastel and posca pen.

The title of this series reflects my drive to create work as much for myself as my audience. These pieces celebrate the therapeutic effects of embracing colour and pattern. In a year of personal trauma, I have created my own alternate reality !

I was born in regional, NSW, Australia and have lived in Sydney for most of my adult life. Over the years, I have exhibited consistently, having had 9 solo shows. I have been shortlisted for numerous art prizes in NSW and interstate. In 2019 I was awarded the People’s Choice in both The Urban Edge Art Award in Sydney and the Blue Mountains Print Award. My most recent linoprint "Rear Window, Studio" has been selected for 3 art awards in the last 6 months

I spend my time making linoprints and mixed media work at my studio and teaching part time as an art specialist at a local school. As well as making linoprints, I love combining relief print techniques such as stamping with drawing, painting and collaging to create still life and interior images on paper. This recent development has brought a sense of play back into my practice. I have also become more focused on making larger scale linoprints.
