I constructed this paired form from sweetgrass stitched with red thread. Each vessel tilts toward the other, holding porous bricks found washed up on the shore. The work treats containment as negotiation rather than closure. By pairing the two objects, I’m testing balance, dependence, and how weight activates a surface without filling it. The red stitches mark pressure points and guide the eye.
