The inspiration photo for this painting was so sweet, I could hardly wait to paint the lovely mare and foal in their springtime flowers. This is the fifth in my Wildflowers series. Inspiration for this painting by ©Zuzule - Can Stock Photo Inc.

Medium: Painted on Arches 300# watercolor paper with Brusho® Crystal Colours in beautiful shades ofshades of sandstone, blue and green, with pops of orange, yellow and pink. This piece is mounted on a cradled wood panel and framed in a beautiful bronze-tone floating frame.
