Salvaged strike plates from a joiner's workshop. A strike plate is attached to the frame to secure the door's latch and bolt, enabling the door to be locked. These ones had colourful lives judging by the remnants of paint.
This piece is made from metal strike plates, found in a joiner's shed. Judging by the remnants of paint they had colourful lives. It could have been called 'Five old guys on a bench' as it reminds me so much of reminiscence sessions with old tools on the men's dementia ward where I used to work.
