GLIMMERS

In a certain light at the beach the pinks stand out. Red pebbles look pinker and with the water gently moving around them it creates a dream-like state of calm.

HIGHLAND HIDEAWAYS

This series is inspired by the feeling of being tucked away in a thick-walled cottage in Scotland, whatever the weather.  It uses the cottage as a central image to explore connection, solitude, and the elements that shape us.

WEATHERED

WEATHERED
In this ongoing series, I'm exploring the beauty that comes from weathering, where layers of history are revealed. The original becomes something new and often more interesting.

WORN

This series focuses on post-use materials which have an inherent charm or beauty. I heard someone say 'no scrap left behind' as a reason to save wood offcuts. I enjoyed this reframing of the creative urge to save everything! My scraps include leftover terracotta tiles, reclaimed boat wood, reclaimed flooring, leather, painted canvas and found objects.
