This painting was based on a photo by Lethbridge AB Photographer Jocelin Wuchterl/J W Photography of my Stepdaughter Shaina & my Step Grandson Kash. Because I don’t get to see them as often as I would like, I wanted to give them something to remind them how much I care about them both (and their sweet little dog Theo) and something that would celebrate the amazing bond they share. The fact that you don’t see their faces will keep this painting current as it could be them at any age, Mother and Son, standing side by side.
