As a self-professed “Bird Nerd” I am always looking in the trees and listening to bird songs to either identify them, or to possibly catch sight of something new. The Yellow-Headed Blackbirds frequent the marshy areas around where I live and are often spotted precariously on top of Bulrushes. I think their song is beautiful, even though some compare it to a rusty gate opening.
